Italo-Venezuelan plastic artist with extensive training and multidisciplinary artistic career: design, sculpture, painting, screen printing, lighting, scenography, advertising and photography. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, cultural spaces and international fairs and has received important recognitions such as the Tertulia Ilustrada Award for Best Abstract Painting.
Natha Piña is driven by the material abstraction of what is found, from the matière trouvé, the artificial and the organic, through the singularity of her own style. The creator configures a metamorphosis from in-depth contemplation and the passing of time, to discover Palaeolithic and technological action through anthropic chemistry and timeless experiential science. This is how horizons sprout to enter the conscious: layers, eras, testimonies that are born from the skin of memory, from the plastic layer, vital ages that reflect the eternal return to existence from the raw material to the final work, made with the conscious and rational proportion of thought, and also of stimulus.
