Simancas inaugurates its new art gallery as a meeting point to combine culture and reflection

The new gallery is located at number 14 Arrabal Street, in the historic center of the town.

Simancas now has a new space for artistic creation, ‘Backyard Arte Simancas Gallery’, conceived as a meeting point “to combine culture, reflection and dialogue”.

This is how the promoter of the initiative defines it, Pablo Gómez (Valladolid, 1967), cultural manager and visual artist, for whom this cultural meeting point is not born alone, but rather that “history, tradition and customs, united with its people, will form part through the gallery of the movement that is taking place all over Europe, even worldwide, called Agro-Arty”.

Gómez made these statements during the inauguration of the art gallery in Simancas, which this afternoon was held in the open air, in the Plaza del Mirador, in an act in which residents of Simancas and friends of the artist participated. The mayor of the town, Alberto Plaza, has also attended.
